Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) Survey

The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) is a national trade association of manufacturers, wholesalers, contractors and associates in the Canadian heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) industry. Through our SkillTech Division we offer in-class training programs that provide the technical competence required to design and install HVAC systems. Our training is geared to standards and codes that govern the building industry and we would like to develop a closer relationship with municipalities and building officials.

Our goal is to be better informed of new requirements and to communicate these requirements to our members and those that we train in order to cut down on non-compliance issues, which we would see as a benefit to municipalities and HRAI.

Please take a few moments to complete the survey posted on the New Brunswick Building Officials Website (www.nbboa.nb.ca ) to assist in establishing a nation wide report which would include requirements for submissions of mechanical system designs within municipalities. Simply click on the link (or copy and paste on your web browser).

The HRAI Links is a member service that provides information on code and standard changes as well as specific communications on current issues in the HVACR industry ie. Ethanol alert. Just complete the survey and the Links will be forwarded to you!

Thank you so much for your time!

  2. An air conditioner can create havoc at times breaking down often or puffing out low quality air. But, maintaining the machine on a routine basis can save you a lot of money. It can prolong the life of the machine and keep a check of electricity consumption as well
